Day Zero!!

Like I stated before we are going to start the Day Zero Project! However The Hubs has decided to not participate, His loss!

The Day Zero project is a list of 101 items you want to complete in 1001 days. They don't have to be mind blowing items, or just everyday things. That's the beauty, you can pick for yourself. It is not a preset goal, or something your spouse or friends want you to do. It is completely up to you!

I was like other people and thought, I'll add crazy things, and then some random ones that no one will really care about. As I was making my list I realized how hard it was for me to decide what I wanted to put on there. It took almost an entire week to decide. I would add a few then come back to the list take something off that I didn't find fitting any longer. In the end I think I have a great list of tasks that I can complete!

If you want to read a little more about it you can go here : Day Zero Project

I wanted to have several things on my list, and mainly want to make a change for the better with this project. I know it will not take over my life, however I do want it to make an impact.

I have been lucky enough to have a few friends start their lists before me so I have been able to see how they set them up. It's been great, because I know that I want to have a few "big" things on my list, however I know to keep in mind that it is something that will either cost money or I will need to be able to back it up and finish this list!

I am starting today, December 30th, 2011 my Day Zero list should be done on September 26th, 2014!!

So here we go! Here's hoping we'll get them done!!!

Wednesday

Never Fails, I have to spell that out Wed-Nes-Day. But it gets the job done!!

It's a quite slow day here at work. I work in IT, at a Help Desk for a Hospital. It is crazy, and yes of course stressful at times! But I love the people I work with!! I have 2 really good friends at work! J & S. They are crazy fun, and we always have a great time laughing everyday.

This is J and S at work! Crazy funny friends!!

They are great friends! Always with a laugh and a good way to vent! We always do stuff outside of work as well. S has a little boy, such a cutie!! J has 2 kids, but they are both out of the house, her Daughter is in college!

Here is a picture of me that S took after I got the picture of them :)

Not the best picture, but As you can see I am rocking out the Badge!
This is why we are great friends, they know me too well. This is my Christmas gift from them :)
It's very true!!

There isn't much going on today, tonight The Hubs and I are going to have Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Tomato soup for dinner I think. We'll see if that happens!

Well everyone have a happy Wed-Nes-Day!!!

Christmas!!

As usual we had a great Christmas plan! It all worked out! For the most part!

We always have 9am gifts at The Hub's Parents house and then head over to Mo & Po's house for Breakfast! Always a great time, Love Mo & Po like they were my own grandparents!

We always have a great Christmas, and this year I wanted to start a tradition of our own, being our first Christmas as a married couple, we were going to go to a movie, or rent one from Redbox, or something like that!
Yeah, that didn't happen :( Too much stuff going on, and too many family requirements to attend!

Instead after we went to family functions in the AM, we decided to come back to the house. The Hubs decided to put the Fire Pit together, that we recieved from the In-Laws for Christmas, of course while we were playing games!!

The Hubs getting ready to prove his manhood!
It was a good time, we decided it was easier to lock the dogs out of the room, so we blocked their only path!! Not the best picture, but the box was a high as my waist.

As you can see way in the back, Toby not too happy about being left out!
It was a great day overall, naps were had a football game watched. Presents were opened and people overall were happy!!

We at the Hendo House hope everyone had a great Christmas!!

We bought our first house on September 7th, 2011, yep that's right 3 days before our wedding. The best part, The Hubs wanted to move in right away! He's a little crazy like that sometimes, but it makes for great stories.

We have 2 dogs, Gus and Toby. Labs, crazy crazy Labs. Gus(black) Toby(brown) total crazies, but loving and they mind pretty well.

Gus & Toby

So here we go!! I'm glad you are going to be a part of this great journey! Soon here both The Hubs and I will start the Day Zero Project, Thanks to a lot of the girls of the September 2011 Board on The Knot. A great group of ladies!

Come back soon to see our lists!! But mostly to see all of the Shenanigans that happen at The Hendo House!!
