Day 5 of the 30 Day Challenge

Day 05 - A picture of somewhere you’ve been to.

 This was such a hard choice. Made a little easier by the fact I can't find any of my pictures from my trip to Europe. So instead of doing those pictures I decided to do a couple of pictures from the cruises I have been on. I went one time in 2009 with my Father and both sisters. The second cruise was for my honeymoon this past September. 

I will say Cruises are the way to go! Great food, multiple locations we went with Disney on both Cruises, and yes there were kids but not too many, plus there is a 18 & older part of the ship. Bonus!!! :)

This is our ship, for both Cruises. It was a great time, and even though it was a couple years between cruises you wouldn't have noticed!!

 

 

This is from the cruise I went with my Sisters & Dad(He's taking the picture) we were in Cozumel Mexico. It was super cold that day, but we all got into the water anyway!

 

 

This is St. Maarten one of the stops on our Honeymoon. It was so peaceful and beautiful!!

All in all a great time had. I wish I could find some pictures from Europe! That was a great time as well!!

Friends, we all have them!!

It's true, and if you don't I'm sorry! I will be your friend :)

We all know we have groups of friends, some of those groups mingle together others don't. We all have work friends, and social friends, we have best friends, and acquaintances. I am lucky to have a lot of great friends, some from work and some from games The Hubs and I play online. Today's post is for the friends I have, and what a great group of crazies I have collected over the years!

I have 2 really close friends, best friends as you would say. They are awesome sauce as I would say! We've known each other for a long time!

DD George and I, have a great time!!

DD George(not her real name) and I have known each other for what seems like forever but more like 14ish years! We met like most crazy people do in Band!! Yes I say Crazy and I mean every letter, and say it with Love! She is one of the funniest people I know and is super caring. Love her to death!! This is a typical picture with DD George and I, we are always on the same brainwave!

A and I have a great time!!

A and I have known each other for a long, long time. We met in 6th grade at school. That was some 18ish years ago! Man I can't believe it's been that long! Crazy, Crazy times! We have had a great run, always able to talk we like to go shopping together. This picture is of course from my wedding, but it was for A's Mom! Almost every picture that A's Mom has of me is with my hands in the air! So she got another!!!

You all have met my great work friends, S & J. They are some funny stuff and I love that we are starting to hang out other than when we are at work!! Here is their picture just for good measure.

Now I know I have a lot more friends then this, but a lot of them are online as well. I know that I can't show you a picture of them because, a lot of them I've never met in person. Just because you haven't seen a friend doesn't mean they aren't you friends! I know a lot of people online and people that I play games with that I haven't seen ever. I've talked to them over VOIP in game they are still my friends none-the-less! Other online friends are the Ladies from The Knot, those ladies are awesome, we all have different opinions but work out everything together. Without those ladies I'm sure by now I would have lost my mind!!

Another group friends kind of blends together. It's The Hubs, Wireman(our good friend) and C The Hub's best friend! We all play MMO's together. C I have actually known longer than The Hubs has, I've known him from Middle School. I think it's great they are best friends because C is a great guy!! Wireman is a super funny guy that The Hubs met at work! He plays MMO's with us and is super funny. C and Wireman get into it all the time making jokes about each other. It is always a great laugh.

We all went to Sushi on Monday night to celebrate Wireman's birthday! It was an awesome time as usual! I wish I had a picture of the 5 of us so you could see!

To sum it up, Friends are great. They balance out life, the good times and the bad. They know your darkest secrets, and they don't hold them over you!

The Hubs, My Very Best Friend :)

Furbabies!

So with all of the craziness going on around The Hendo house I didn't get to properly introduce our Furbabies. They are really like our children(we still haven't decided if we want any actual kids).

During our 9 year relationship The Hubs and I took a 3 month break from dating, it was much needed. A lot of growing up on both parts happened while we were apart and we took a fresh look at each other and decided if we were going to get back together or not. As we all know we did :) During our break I wanted a change, so I decided to get a dog. I wasn't looking for any type of dog in perticular. So A, one of my best friends(I'm sure we'll see her later) told Barb a co-worker about it and she knew a guy that had a dog.

So A and I went and met the dog, so fricken cute! I took him that day, A actually let him ride in her car. That's a big deal!! So of course The Hubs and I were still taking our break but he had to come see him along with C(The Hub's best friend). He fell in love with him too! At first his name was Uber, because I said that word all of the time, like Uber sales and whatnot, but after about 3 hours of calling him that A and I decided we it wasn't a good name for him.

I decided he could pick out his own name, I pulled out the phone book and started to read names to him, waiting for a response. It took about 4-5 names and he picked Gus. It works too, he's such an old man dog except for the fact he gets way too excited sometimes!

After The Hubs and I got back together we talked about getting another dog. Then we heard the Gus's Mom & Dad were having another litter. We jumped at the chance to get another Lab. Gus was such a good dog it would be awesome to have another! So we got another dog, of course we were able to go choose the dog. We picked the only one that was sitting in the corner not playing with the other pups. We figured he'd be a little more calm than Gus. The Hubs got to pick his name this time, he had a couple of different names in mind but landed on Toby.

Toby is a little crazy, but super lazy he is awesome. He's a lover for sure, and is willing to do almost anything for a treat.

I was talking to A on the phone the other day, and we were talking about how old the boys(dogs) were getting. Check out their mustaches & beards!!

Thank you for letting me talk about my Boys, I know it's been a useless post but now you know my whole family. Well at least the ones I live with!!
